      13 There are now 13 more trained "drug recognition experts" with Pa. State Police troops across the state. To date, 30 state troopers and four municipal officers have successfully completed the training through the National Highway Safety Administration.

Tax/rent rebate deadline extended
      The deadline for seniors and other qualified Pennsylvanians to apply for the Property Tax/ Rent Rebate Program has been extended through the end of this year. Also, maximum rebate has been increased to $650 for both homeowners and renters.
