Bresslin leads A-C barrage Ryan Bresslin led the heavy hitters from Emporium's Alle- Catt baseball team to another lopsided win Sunday afternoon. Bresslin had one of the most impressive games in Alle-Catt Amateur Baseball League history, with four home runs and a single, along with 10 runs batted in. Rick Uber was right on his heels with a pair of home runs and four singles, as Emporium beat up on Bradford, 20-6. Kevin Gledhill contributed a pair of home runs among his three hits. Ken Meyer and Dustin Mullens also had three hits apiece, while Drew Tompkins added two hits Winning pitcher Paul Baker helped his own cause with a home run and a double. Baker worked seven innings, striking out six and surrendering seven hits. The Cats (10-1) are off until Sunday, July 8, when they travel to Crosby (2:00). Next home game is Sunday, July 15, against Olean AOH. |
