The Schedule Friday, July 20 (6pm to 11pm) Blue Sky Mission Club. Drummer Ron Riddle, formerly of Blue Oyster Cult, helps deliver a blend of soul, country, zydeco and rock traditions. Music of the Underground Railroad, featuring local student musicians led by Charles Kennedy Jr. Jakob's Hollow. Original songs based on the 1911 Austin flood and other selections from by the local folk trio with Philadelphia and Nashville roots. Dam Jam Session. Professional and local musicians gather onstage to explore unscripted dimensions as a warm-up for Gordon Stone Band's headlining finale. Gordon Stone Band. Stone, a world-class banjo and pedal steel guitar player, moved from well-known jam band Phish to his own blend of bluegrass, Latin, jazz, world beat and funk. Saturday, July 21 (2pm to 11pm) Tom Martin. Coudersport balladeer. Fetish Lane. It's "folk music with a kick," highlighted by three-part harmonies and energetic percussion work. "Drums Along Freeman Run." A lively, hands-on drum workshop featuring Buddhahood. Bonnie Kyofsky. A celebrated storyteller, Dr. Kyofski shares tales of Austin and humorous tall tales. Jonathan Haley. Professionally trained in classical guitar, Haley's style branches from contemporary Christian, to classical, to inspirational. Brother Dietze and the Dixie Boys. Accomplished musicians in their own right, the other band members take a back seat when 94-year-old Rev. Kenneth Dietze takes the microphone for soul-stirring, foot-tapping musical celebrations. The Slant. This band with Potter County roots defies conventional description, with a blend of folk, rock, and self-styled music. Redheaded Stepchild. Kathryn Koch and David Nanni are crowd-pleasers, with fiery vocals, stellar harmonica and saxophone playing and a driving guitar style. The Buddhahood. Vocals, folk, rock, world music, drums, horns and plenty of energy are all rolled into this popular festival band. Sunday, July 22 (2pm to 6pm) Ecumenical worship service at 11:00 a.m. Freznel Lenz A five-piece original Christian band, Freznel Lenz delivers rock, country, blues, bluegrass, funk, jazz, Latin calypso, and even reggae. Redheaded Stepchild. See above. Essence of Motion Dancers. Students will be demonstrating their skills in various dance styles, under the direction of Anita Bartlett and Margaret Spahr.
