Dog license reminder

Emporium's dog law officer and the Cameron County SPCA remind dog owners that "the fastest way home" for a lost dog is a dog license.

They've observed an increase in runaway dogs over the past few weeks.

Dog owners whose pets run away should call the Emporium dog law officer at 486- 0952, Cameron County SPCA at 486-0867, or the state dog law officer at 486-2555 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Lost animal pictures will be posted on the SPCA website.
