An alternative energy system seminar will be held on Saturday, July 28, at the Coudersport Elementary School.

Headwaters Resource Conservation and Development is co-sponsoring the public seminar to educate area residents about commercially available alternative or supplemental energy sources.

The seminar is targeted to people who are planning for building construction or renovations to improve energy efficiency.

Experts in the energy field will discuss geothermal, wind power, bio-diesel, as well as wood and agricultural biomass systems, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $15, which includes lunch.

Advance registration is requested. Anyone interested should contact Janine Morley at the Potter County Education Council, 274-4877.
