Two new teachers hired at CCSD

Two new teachers will join the Cameron County Area School District faculty for the 2007-08 school year.

At Thursday night's meeting, the school board announced that John Pontzer has been hired as an English teacher at the high school, at a salary of $36,594. Also, C. Adam Brooks was hired as a third full-time music teacher, grades kindergarten through 12, at a salary of $37,794.

Jennifier Gornall-Rouch was retained as school district solicitor, succeeding David Consiglio, who resigned.
