Ann Kornish

Ann B. Kornish, 89, of Emporium died Saturday (June 30, 2007) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.

She was born Sept. 11, 1917 in Renovo, a daughter of Ralph and Florence Long Peters. She was married to Elmer Kornish.

Mrs. Kornish graduated in 1933 from Emporium High School. She retired from the former Tau Electronics where she worked for several years. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society.

Surviving are a son, R. James (Sandra) Kornish, Carlisle; three daughters, Carole O'Malley, Rochester, N.Y., Linda (James) Kronenwetter, Ontario, N.Y., and Kathleen (Jeffery) Barsch, Warren; nine grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Paul Peters, and a sister, Mary Elder.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial was in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery.
