Alle-Catt team rolls over Crosby
      That long layoff didn't affect the heavy hitters from Emporium's Alle-Catt baseball team. Kevin Gledhill led a 22-hit attack that lifted Emporium to a 15-4 win at Crosby Sunday afternoon, improving the Cats' record to 11-1. Gledhill had a home run among his five hits and drove in five runs.

Legion team conclude season
      The 2007 season will go down as a learning experience for many of the players on the American Legion Baseball team from Emporium. Inexperience and lack of pitching depth took a toll on the squad, but Emporium still managed a 7-10 record.
