Alle-Catt team rolls over Crosby

That long layoff didn't affect the heavy hitters from Emporium's Alle-Catt baseball team.

Kevin Gledhill led a 22-hit attack that lifted Emporium to a 15-4 win at Crosby Sunday afternoon, improving the Cats' record to 11-1.

Gledhill had a home run among his five hits and drove in five runs. Drew Tompkins (triple), Ken Meyer (double) and Rick Uber (double) had three hits apiece.

Bresslin and Mike Baker each added a pair of hits and Paul Baker connected on a round-tripper.

Paul Baker picked up the win with seven solid innings. He struck out seven, walked a pair and gave up seven hits. Ryan Bresslin worked two shutout innings in relief.

Olean AOH (8-4) came to town Sunday afternoon (2:00) to take on the defending league champions. Results were too late for presstime.
