Cherry Springs to host herb fair

Cherry Springs State Park in central Potter County hosts the second annual Mountain Thyme Herbal Fair this Saturday and Sunday.

The free event features herbal, gardening and artist vendors who will be demonstrating, as well as selling, their be offering locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.

Frosty Hollow Herb Guild, a Potter County local herb club, will be among those setting up booths. Ross Shourds, a wood carver who specializes in birds, will demonstrate his talent. plant identification hikes and conducting nature crafts for kids.

Music will also be eatured and, weather permitting, solar viewing programs will take place. Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
