David Babcock is preparing for his sophomore year as a running back for the Carnegie Mellon University football team. Babcock, shown with head coach Richard Lackner, has not let his football obligations get in the way of academics at the Pittsburgh school. He made the dean's list in each of the semesters during is freshman year. David is the son of Ed and Missy Babcock of Coudersport.
