Audrey Bailey

Audrey J. Bailey, 75, of Emporium, died Monday (July 23, 2007) at Guy and Mary Felt Manor.

She was born Feb. 14, 1932 in Emporium, a daughter of the late Kenneth D. and Delilah Smith Housler.

On July 21, 1950 in North Creek Church, she married Carl Bailey, who survives.

Mrs. Bailey was a 1950 graduate of Emporium High School. She worked at Sylvania for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Allen (Jeannine) Bailey, of Emporium, and Rick Bailey, of New York; a daughter, Sarah (Fred) Jackson, of Emporium; seven grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; a brother, John Housler of Emporium, and a sister, Jennie Connelly of Emporium.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Kay Marie Ramsey.

A memorial service was held at the Barnett Funeral Home with Rev. James Eastman officiating. Burial was in Newton Cemetery.
