Weekend activities at Sinnemahoning park

Several weekend activities are planned at Sinnemahoning State Park in Cameron and Potter counties.

On Sunday, park naturalists will offer pontoon tours on the lake, with departures at noon, 1:30 and 3:00. Guides will discuss wetlands and the park's nesting bald eagles on each tour. Reservations are suggested and can be made at the park office, by calling 647- 8401.

Friday night features a children's nature program at the park amphitheater, starting at 7:00. It will include mounted wildlife displays and a nature craft activity.

On Saturday, a naturalist will conduct a nature program for children at the amphitheater, starting at 3:00 p.m. Saturday night's program, starting at 7:00, focuses on the area's native mosses and liverworts.
