Can't sing? No problem. Fake it during this fair contest

Singing talent is optional, but timing and stage presence are everything, during the Cameron County Fair's annual Lip Sync Contest. It's set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Contestants will swing and sway while matching their lip movements to recorded vocals. They'll be judged on synchronization, as well as crowd appeal and overall appearance.

Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded for first through third places in these categories: age 7 and under, 8-12, 13-19 and 19 and up.

Registration will be open from 5:00 to 7:00 on the night of the contest.
