Kinney breaks elbow
      Josh Kinney of Port Allegany, a major league baseball player with the St. Louis Cardinals, last week suffered a broken bone in his right elbow while playing catch. He underwent surgery on Friday to repair the fracture.

Morris transfers to W. Michigan
      For the first time since he was a young boy, Coudersport's Caleb Morris will not be in uniform for a football season. Morris, the talented placekicker and punter who graduated from Coudersport High School in 2006, has transferred from the University of Maryland to Western Michigan University.
