Kennedys at Songwriter's Roundtable
Saturday night's Songwriter's Roundtable in Potter County features folk musicians The Kennedys, a dynamic songwriting and performing duo with several CDs and many accolades from the music world.
They'll headline a night of music that also features Linda Stout and a local duo, the Cherry Tree Laners.
Music at Ski Denton starts at 7 p.m., but fans can come early and enjoy a home-cooked meal and camaraderie beginning at 5 p.m.
Pete and Maura Kennedy met in Texas when Maura was a member of the Delta Rays and Pete had recently taken a break from Nanci Griffith's band. They quickly became inseparable, and when Griffith needed a harmony singer, Maura was an obvious choice.

Linda Stout melds elements of jazz, pop and folk to create some unique and personal music that touches the listener. Her songs also show the influence of her favorite poets. Young brothers Gabe and Eli Trimbur are the Cherry Tree Laners, with talent and charm that warms any audience.
The show is hosted by local singers and songwriters Eppie Bailey and Steve Quelet of Jakob's Hollow. Dinner is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Admission to the show is $10 for adults and $5.00 for children.
