Engagements announced

John and Vicky Songer of Emporium announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Songer of Centreville, Va., to Michael Steinebach, also of Centreville.

He is the son of Paul and Gloria Steinebach of Manassas, Va.

A summer 2008 wedding is planned.

Diana Gallup of Smethport and Shane and Annette Gallup of Denver, N.C, announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Gallup, to Scott Green of Emporium.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Smethport Area High School and has recently graduated from BOCES in Olean, N.Y., with a practical nursing degree.

Her fiance is the son of Joan Dynda of Emporium. He is a graduate of Cameron County High School and is employed as a master scheduler with GKN in Emporium.

The wedding will be held on May 24, 2008, at the Cameron County Fairgrounds.
