Harvest Supper planned in Keating Summit

Keating Summit Community Suppers Committee has announced the return of the Harvest Supper, to be held at the Keating Summit United Methodist Church.

It's scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Dinner will consist of ham, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes, cole slaw, assorted vegetables, rolls and desserts.

Anyone interested in donating a dish or dessert should contact Janice Baker at 642-7994, Russ Moore at 642- 0925, or Bonnie Wood at 642- 9341.

Everyone is welcome ,including hunters who are visiting the area. Cost is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children aged 6 - 12 and free for children 5 years old and younger.

Upcoming Community Suppers events include a "Nifty Fifties" ice cream social, featuring a deejay playing classic '50s music, on Oct. 21, and a "Hunters Spaghetti Dinner" on Nov. 27.
