Republican campaign kick-off

Potter County Republicans will gather to kick off the general election campaign with a picnic at Ski Denton on Saturday. The Republican County Committee is sponsoring the event, which is open to everyone and the cost is $15.

Social hour starts at 4 p.m., with serving at 5 p.m. and a program to follow. Among the speakers will be Doug Morley and Paul Heimel, the Republican nominees for the Potter County Board of Commissioners.

Invitations have also been extended to Republican nominees who are unopposed on the Nov. 6 ballot and to current GOP officeholders.
