H. Lena Dezack

Helen Lena Dezack, 95, of Dexter St., Emporium, most recently of DuBois Village, DuBois, died at the DuBois Nursing Home, Monday (Sept. 10, 2007).

She was born April 1, 1912 in Emporium, a daughter of John and Maria Angela Troncone Ruberto.

On Aug. 30, 1941 in St. Mark Church, Emporium, she married Joseph J. Dezack.

Mrs. Dezack graduated from Emporium High School. She had worked at Sylvania for nine years. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Surviving is one daughter, Dr. Margaret Dezack Stengel and husband Ronald, Valley Forge; one son, James J. Dezack, DuBois; one grandson, James M. Dezack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, Larry Dezack; a sister, Mary Ruberto Anderson and two brothers, John and Anthony Ruberto.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Mark Church, with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, as celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Shippen Township.
