Junior high team wins

Three first quarter touchdowns sent Cameron County on its way to a 26-0 win at Elk County Catholic last week in the junior high football season opener.

Mark Schweikart's fumble recovery set up a one-yard TD run by Joe Holjencin early in the game. Jason Blose returned a punt 65 yards for six more points. Blose score again late in the first quarter on a 25-yard run and he carried for the twopoint conversion.

A 24-yard touchdown run by Blose in the third quarter sealed the win. Cameron County returns to action on Thursday at Curwensville (6 p.m.).
