Cross country team wins

Coudersport's runners found the home course to their liking in a cross country meet against Otto-Eldred Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Emily Giannotti covered the hill and the flats at CARP Field in 20:09, leading the Falcon girls to a 19-36 win. Coudersport swept third through sixth place, with Brielle Whitman, Kristy Kamper, Sarah Hutcheson and Allyson Elliott.

No team scores were kept in boys' competition. Grant Gerner (20:14) placed second to lead the Falcons. Chris Podwoski, Eric Szekely and Aaron Chisholm were in the top eight.

"Both our boys and girls have improved their times quite a bit," said Falcon coach Carl Klingaman.
