Raider JV wins, 30-8

Cameron County opened the junior varsity football season with an impressive 30-8 win over Elk County Catholic.

Andrew Kesterholt scored on 10-yard run and Andy Lippert scored on a long run. The Raiders later scored on a fourth-and-goal from the 32, when Kyle McManigle hit Brett Malize on a pass down the left sideline.

Late in the game, McManigle hit Daniel Sullivan on a 73-yard touchdown bomb down the right sideline.

Andy Beer and Brent Munz caught two-point conversion passes. Ryan Neyman tacked on two points when he tackled an ECC ball-carrier in the end zone.

Cameron County returns to action on Monday at Smethport.
