GKN says 'thanks'

Thank you for taking time to recognize the GKN Walking Challenge.

We have challenged everyone to "walk across the U.S." and reach several other GKN Sinter Metals plants. For every mile a participant walks, GKN Emporium will give five virtual miles. After the employee reaches a plant, he or she is given an incentive for hard work and dedication to the program.

Last week we hosted a health screening fair in conjunction with Dr. McKimm's office (GKN Clinic) and other local agencies. We offered to our employees free of cost a variety of health testing, such as glucose, vision, hearing, blood pressure, body mass index, breathing, and cholesterol.

We are excited about the great turnout that we had for this event; we hope to keep the program running and get more participants each year.
