Firefighting classes set

Several emergency services training activities are scheduled in Coudersport over the next few weeks.

An informational session on the upcoming Essentials of Firefighting class will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 pm at the Potter County Emergency Operations Center.

Anyone who plans to attend the class, scheduled to start Nov. 3-4 and run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, must attend the Oct. 23 meeting.

Hazardous Materials Operations Refresher Training is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 16-17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Coudersport Firehall.

Continuing education hours will be available. All students must register by Oct. 8.

Hazardous Materials: Recognizing & Identifying classes are also scheduled.
