Soccer game ends in a tie

Coudersport battled Johnsonburg to a 1-1 tie on the Falcons' home field. Dillon Wadsworth scored the lone goal for the hosts.

Coach Brian Empson's squad continues to play solid defense but is having trouble penetrating their opponents' net.

On Saturday, Coudersport stayed within reach of a tough Bradford team, but still fell, 2- 0.

"That is probably as well as a Coudersport team has ever played Bradford," Empson said. "We just couldn't score, but we kept it close and gave them a good game, especially in the second half."

Zach Miller had 10 goalie saves for the Falcons.
