Pro-Life event planned Oct.

Cameron County Pro-Life Group will once again sponsoring a "Life Chain" on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Life Chain is an ecumenical, nationally recognized, peaceful demonstration against abortion.

Participants will begin gathering in the First Baptist Church fellowship hall at 2 p.m. They'll stand for an hour in silence, holding signs, along Fourth Street in downtown Emporium between Broad and Chestnut streets.
