Autumn Festival this Saturday

Sizerville State Park's 17th annual Autumn Festival will be held on Saturday, from noon until 4 p.m.

The popular festival is a celebration of traditional oldtime crafts and skills and attracts a large number of visitors each year.

This year's festival includes several new events as well as returning old favorites.

Children's projects will include free pumpkin painting, pioneer games, kite making, apple cidering, sun prints, leaf prints, candy making, birdseed art and more.

Demonstrations and exhibits will include jewelry, maple syrup products, fungus art, knitting, primitive crafts, apple butter and biscuits, beekeeping and local photography, wood carving.

Smokey Bear will appear at 2 p.m. Many food vendors will operating.
