Fans of the Judy Bolton mystery book series, featuring the adventures of a girl detective in scenes that were largely based on author Margaret Sutton's childhood memories in Potter County, gathered last weekend for the annual "Judy Bolton Days" observance. Sutton's two daughters, Eleanor Sutton-Kratzat (left) and Lindsay Stroh, along with her greatgranddaughter, 10- year-old Alysia Stroh, were among 50 fans who gathered at the Austin Area School for a luncheon. They're shown in front of a prominent mural in the cafeteria, painted years ago by members of the AHS class of 2001. "It was a source of great pride to my mother that every book she wrote was based on a real place or event," Lindsay Stroh said.
