Game land tour Oct. 21

The Pa. Game Commission is emphasizing its habitat improvement work during state game land tours. These lands are managed for the protection, propagation and management of game and wildlife, and to provide areas for public hunting, trapping and recreation.

On Sunday, October 21, from 2 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., there will be a tour of State Game Land 34, which contains 9,470 acres in Elk County. Participants should meet at the intersection of the Quehanna Highway and Jack Dent Road, about five miles south of Medix Run.
