'Wild' Christmas plans

      Emporium Borough has set its annual Halloween trick or treat for Saturday, Oct. 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Residents who wish to encourage trick-ortreaters should switch on their porchlights. Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for the youngsters in costume as they scurry around town.

      Coudersport Rotary Club is sponsoring the community's Halloween Parade once again this year. Members discussed details at this week's meeting. Marchers will step off at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and can begin lineup at 1:30. Prizes will be awarded in singles, doubles and group categories.

Community day care set to open
