Emporium Senior Center members were laughing this week after Nancy Brown (right) lost a friendly one-dollar wager to Tom Woodward Jr. Knowing that procrastination runs rampant, Nancy wagered that Tom's mother, Mede, would not be moved into the new Assisted Living Center at Guy and Mary Felt Manor on the designated day. Well, the move went like clockwork, but Nancy couldn't bring herself to just hand Tom a greenback. Instead, she glued 100 pennies to a cardboard sign and presented it to him during the center's breakfast hour.
