CDA Woman of the Year Honored
Volunteer Anita Chandler awarded

Anita Chandler was honored as "woman of the year" at the anniversary dinner of Court Doyle No. 932, Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Chandler is a ready volunteer for CDA, St. Eulalia Catholic Church in Coudersport and the community.

She was surprised to have her daughter, Gina, from Florida, her daughter Janet, and her sister Angel of Philadelphia attend the ceremony.

Long-time Coudersport resident Donna Potocek was also honored with a 50-year membership pin by Regent Mary McCaigue. Julia Marzo, who could not be present, will also receive a 50-year pin.

Gloria Richardson was recognized as a second place winner of the National CDA Education Contest in the music category.

Guests included District Deputy Mary Norgrove and Nola Snyder of Smethport.

American Legion Post 192 Auxiliary served dinner prior to the program. Regent McCaigue and Vice Regent Alice Cizek were in charge of arrangements.
