A son was born Oct. 6, 2007, in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, to Eric and Kirstin Kirkman Pfenninger of Coudersport.

Named Brendin Michael, the little boy weighed six pounds, seven ounces. Maternal grandparents are Sonya Harris of Shinglehouse and John Kirkman of Smethport. Paternal grandmother is Rose Cook of Covington, N.Y.

Maternal greatgrandmother is Beula Martinez of Coudersport.
