Students 'making a difference'

Woodland Elementary School fourth-graders are observing Saturday as "Make a Difference Day."

They're using it to kick off a drive for the Food Pantry in Emporium. Collection boxes have been placed at the school. The class bringing in the most canned food items will receive gifts. The drive is open through Friday, Nov. 2.
