After performing Friday night during a football game, the kids were up bright and early Saturday to pile onto the bus for not just one, but two competitions that day. Many brought pillows and blankets, hoping to catch some shut-eye on the bus. Band director Brian Gresh pointed out that band members work hard during the summer through the fall to perfect their marching techniques and choreography, juggling those responsibilities with their classes, homework and other daily activities.
