A utility company contractor was injured Monday afternoon when a bucket truck toppled on East Sixth Street in Emporium causing him to fall. According to emergency responders, the employee of Treez Landscapez & More of Ridgway, who was not identified, was in the bucket, attempting to place some guide ropes around the limb of a tree. The truck's operator extended the arm of the bucket too far, causing the stabilizers of the truck to give way. Eroded ground may have been a factor. Cameron County Ambulance Service, Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, Emporium-based Pa. State Police responded. James Moate photo
