Potter County residents sentenced for drunk driving

Three Potter County residents were recently referred to the Accelerative Disposition Program by Judge John B. Leete for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Steven Lampman, 45 of Harrison Valley was apprehended Jan. 27 when police pulled him over because a headlight and tail light were out on his car. His blood alcohol level was .10 percent.

Crystal VanZile, 19, of Roulette was stopped on Route 6 near Coudersport in March when police spotted her car with a tail light out. Her blood alcohol level was .06 percent, below the .08 percent level required to support a DUI charge for a person age 21 or older, but adequate to support the charge for someone under 21.

Robert Muirhead, 18, of Coudersport was stopped by Borough Police for speeding and failing to stop at a stop sign. His blood alcohol content was .05 percent.

Each of the three was ordered to pay costs and fees, perform 25 hours of community service, surrender driver's licenses and attend Alcohol Safe Driving School and the DUI Victim Impact Panel. Muirhead was also ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation.
