Angel food orders being taken

Cameron County Christian Center is offering residents of the Emporium and Austin areas reduced-priced food through Angel Food Ministries.

The program allows area residents to save money on their grocery bills. For $25, they can purchase a basic food box that includes frozen foods, canned goods and other items, including chicken, steaks, sausage, meatballs, apples and more.

Pastor Rock Pifer said the December menu is now posted on the Internet at cameroncounty.org, under a tab labeled "Ministries." Order forms can be printed from the website or can be obtained at Country Blessings.

Angel Food Ministries delivers to the elderly and handicapped. Volunteers also deliver to the Austin area for distribution at the high school parking lot.
