EVFD plans 'Night of Comedy'

Emporium Volunteer Fire Department will partner with Comedy Blast Inc. to present a "Night of Comedy" on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Emporium Moose Lodge.

The two-hour show is described as "adult entertainment" Admission will be limited to those 18 or older.

Proceeds will benefit the EVFD. Only 200 tickets will be sold at a cost of $10 each.

Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 8.

A cash bar will be open and snacks will be available. Tickets are available from

EVFD members.

Featured performer will be Sonya King, who has appeared on Comedy Central and ABC's Good Morning America.
