'Rhapsody of Christmas' concert Dec. 9

North Country Voices will present their annual holiday concert, "Rhapsody of Christmas," at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Coudersport.

"This program will offer strong messages of hope, peace, love and joy," said Gloria Richardson, choral director. "Lift your spirits and warm your hearts as we celebrate in song this joyous time of year."

The program will offer a diversity of choral literature, sacred and secular pieces performed a cappella and with accompaniment.

Members of the North Country Voices include: Anne Acker, Barbara Busch, Roz Connor, Dee Krone, Gretchen Songster, Betty Wallace, Lisa Work, sopranos; Debbie Haley, Jean Kauffman, Vicki Ouellette, Linda Swift, Linda Todd, Judi Welshhans, altos; Brian Bradley, Tom Gordnier, John Sherer, tenors, and Bob Johnson, Jack Krone, Tom Lamb and Steve Sevinsky, basses. Piano accompanist is Anne McCleary.

There is no admission fee but a free will offering will be accepted, with proceeds to benefit the Coudersport Area Ministerium of Churches and the North Country Voices.
