AML football all-stars named

Champion Cameron County landed nine players on the Allegheny Mountain High School Football League's North Division allstar team, while runner-up Coudersport had six selections.

Players were chosen by a vote of league coaches. They were as follows:

Cameron County: offense -- Cameron Clingan, Shawn Ellenberger, Tom Jack, Jordan Crane and Abram Zoschg; defense -- Mike Malizia, Charlie Holjencin, Darrick Mason and Marcus Mullens.

Coudersport: offense -- Evan Abplanalp, Brett Whitman and Brian Wetzel; defense -- Dirk Cowburn, Adam Foust and Colton Corey.

Port Allegany: offense -- Josh Saltsman and Josh Guerrero; defense -- Derick Morey and Nick Nichols.

Smethport: offense -- Preston Birtcil; defense -- Kyle Nobles and Derek Durphy.

Otto-Eldred: offense -- Lucas Breese; defense -- Zach Roberts.

Sheffield: offense -- Jordan Copley.
