Quick Look: Redbank Valley Bulldogs

Cameron County will travel to Clarion University Saturday afternoon to meet Redbank Valley and battle for a berth in the District 9 Class A championship game next Saturday.

The Bulldogs of coach Ed Wasilowski, until recently a Class AA team, are 10-1 against a light schedule. They barely won, 13-12, against the same Keystone team that Cameron County dominated last weekend.

Quarterback Jake Smith leads the way. Smith entered last week's game hitting 98 of 171 passes for 1,695 yards, 23 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He also rushed for 543 yards and 13 touchdowns.

RV has the deepest receiving corps in the district with four players with 19 or more receptions.
