CHA-CHA-CHA CHANGES…

Gunzburger Annex isn't the only place where changes are takin gplace in Coudersport.

--Several modular office trailers brought into town to accommodate Adelphia's rapid growth in the late 1990s are being sold and removed.

--The massive "Tennis Center" in west Coudersport, donated by Time Warner to the Potter County Redevelopment Authority, is now occupied by Empereon Marketing. Fifty employees have already been hired for a customer contact center and more jobs are coming.

--AP Wagner, an appliance parts supplier, is relocating its customer center from the Coudersport Industrial Park to the former International Paper building on East Second Street. An unidentified employer has been secured to replace AP Wagner at the Farm Services Building in the Industrial Park.

--A mystery buyer will take over the former Adelphia Operations Building on South Main Street. That massive seven-year-old structure, which cost about $30 million to build, was sold through an online auction for $3.4 million. The buyer will be identified once the offer is accepted by the administrator overseeing the liquidation of Adelphia's assets.

--The former Job Center at the corner of West Second and North West streets, across from Jubilee Foods, is being sold by the Adelphia estate for $101,000 to an unidentified buyer.

--Sale of the former Kightlinger Motors/Robbins Chevrolet building and lot at Mill and Dwight streets is pending for a high bid of $47,100.

--Administrators for the Adelphia estate are reviewing sealed bids for the former Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and parsonage on West Third Street. Adelphia purchased the property to locate executive offices and named the former church the Dorellenic Building.

--Bids are being reviewed for a 2.4-acre lot along Vine Street where modular offices have been located; for property currently paved for parking behind the Coudersport Post Office and along Water street; and for a halfacre lot on the north side of Pine Street where modular offices were positioned.
