Hause heading to hurricane zone

Cameron County High School graduate Zachary Hause is among 20 Clarion University students who will spend their Christmas break assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area.

Hause, a senior political science/ Spanish major, will join other students working in soup kitchens and rebuilding homes.

Students will live in volunteer centers in New Orleans at no cost, but are seeking sponsors to defray

some of the travel expenses, estimated to be $200 per student.

Zach is the son of Von and Sandra Hause.
