Power Outage in Couldersport

Gusty winds Tuesday night caused a power outage for much of Coudersport. Fire Chief Andy Dubots said a large tree fell across a high tension wire on East Second Street/Rt. 6, west of Ladona, and shorted out several lines. Customers were without electricity until Allegheny Power crews arrived about two hours later. They were able to restore service in less than an hour. Hooftallen Photo
