Economic development projects ranked Directors of Northcentral Pa. Regional Planning and Development Commission recently ranked a series of projects for possible government funding. Topping the list from six counties is NPRPDC's own Enterprise Development Program, which is proposed for $285,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission. Other priorities for potential ARC funding, in order, are: - Bradford Regional Airport multi-tenant center, $250,000 - St. Marys Airport Industrial Park multi-tenant building, $250,000 - Jefferson County Emergency Services Tower, $125,000 - DuBois Regional Medical Center west emergency service vehicle access road, $636,000 - Clearfield Firemen's Industrial Park northern access roadway cost overrun, $65,840 - Curwensville Municipal Authority sewer system, $200,000 - Pennsylvania Wilds Agricultural Heritage Alliance, the food matrix, $275,000 - Johnsonburg Municipal Authority sewer treatment plant renovation, $250,000 - Pennsylvania Wilds Elk County Visitor Center, $250,000 - Greater DuBois Convention and Cultural Center, amount to be announced. |
