Public to be heard on transportation issues An organization that ranks area transportation projects for funding will hold a public meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Ridgway. Input is welcome at the Rural Transportation Planning Committee meeting, to be held at the Northcentral Pa. Regional Planning and Development Commission Office at 651 Montmorenci Road. Anyone seeking additional information should contact Amy Kessler at 773-3162. The committee deals with transportation issues affecting Potter, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson and McKean counties. Among its responsibilities is a Long Range Transportation Plan, used by transportation officials and decision-makers for funding of roadways, public transportation, bicycle/ pedestrian, freight rail and air facilities. |
