Prominent gospel group coming Dec. 30

Prominent gospel musicians Ernie Couch and Revival will appear in Cameron County on Sunday night, Dec. 30.

There will be no admission fee for the 7 p.m. concert, to be held at the Cameron County Christian Center, a former school building on Fourth Street in Emporium.

Revival is a male gospel group blending styles to please a wide variety of music fans, with a high-energy sound that celebrates faith.

"We want folks to leave our concerts feeling better than when they arrived," said singer Jason Couch. "We hope that they have not only been entertained, but that they go home more focused on the one who makes life worth living."

The Couch name is familiar on gospel music circles. Ernie Couch and Revival have recorded several albums, with guest appearances from musicians as diverse as George Jones, Boots Randolph, George Beverly Shea and Petra.
