Computer classes at three sites

Potter County Education Council (PCEC) is making available computer education classes at its offices in Coudersport, Port Allegany and Galeton.

Many jobs in today's competitive marketplace require basic computer skills and these classes are an inexpensive way to obtain the necessary skills.

Each class will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., except in Port Allegany where noted below. Cost is $38 per class and includes a textbook. Schedule is as follows:

Coudersport: Monday, Dec. 3, Microsoft PowerPoint 1; Thursday, Dec. 6, Microsoft PowerPoint 2; Dec. 10, Microsoft Publisher 1; Dec. 13, Microsoft Publisher 2.

Port Allegany: Tuesday, Dec. 4, 9 a.m. to noon, Microsoft Word 1; Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1 p. m. to 4 p. m., Microsoft Word 2; Wednesday, Dec. 5, Microsoft Excel 3; Thursday, Dec. 6, Microsoft Excel 4; Monday, Dec. 10, Microsoft Outlook 1; Dec. 12, Microsoft Outlook 2; Dec. 17, Microsoft PowerPoint 1; Dec. 18, 9 a.m. to noon, Internet 1; Dec. 18 from 1 p.m. through 4 p.m., Internet 2; and Dec. 19, Microsoft PowerPoint 2.

Galeton: Tuesday, Dec. 4, Microsoft Access 2; Thursday, Dec. 6, Microsoft PowerPoint 1; Dec. 11, Microsoft Access 2; Dec. 12, PowerPoint 2; Dec. 18, Microsoft Money 1; Dec. 20, Microsoft Money 2.
